Choosing a Trainer
Quality criteria for trainers or training companies are their certifications and qualifications, years of experience and list of references. In the case of culture-specific trainers make sure that your trainer is a native of the respective culture or has spent several years living and working there.

Ask yourself:
  • Does the brochure identify clearly the range of services?

  • Which other companies have they helped?

  • What references can you check?

  • Do they specialise in this type of training or is it simply a sideline?
  • What experience do the trainers have of the target culture?
  • How up to date is their experience?

  • How often do the trainers revisit the country or countries concerned?

  • Have you met the trainers personally, or are you buying blind?
Always tender for business if possible with a range of suppliers, in order to ensure you get the best deal.
